Jeep humor waiting room ( ** NO POLITICS ** )

Good morning.,,this is on my bucket list

BEAUTIFUL!!!
HUGE bucket list item for me too!!! And I was SOOOOO close!

Several years ago I spent the first two weeks of January in Poker Flats Alaska waiting for the northern lights. The lights waited until I was back in the lower 48 before they showed. Two weeks in record breaking cold temps that never rose above -50.

I like the RAF, really. Talking to them on the telephone or face to face you are met with consummate professionalism. When I had to medevac one of my officers and the responding aircraft was RAF, there was an admirable level of efficiency in communication and skilled landing on the part of the pilot.
But the RAF is full of pranksters. When things aren't urgent guess who's going to be put on the radio with the American on the ground? If you said, "The angry Scouser" then you're right.



And for some reason if you were from Liverpool and you became a pilot in the RAF you were assigned to a Tornado squadron. Every single time I saw "2x GR4" on the list of vuls in the morning... I knew I was going to be in for a hard time hearing what they were saying.

That being said, I do have a thing for swing wing aircraft. Sad to see they've been retired from the service.

Both the Jeep and the Mustang are fun for sure! I miss my own Mustang, but I don't regret selling it to make room for the Jeep.

Pretty much my favorite YouTube channel. He goes to the "Mach Loop" in Wales and "Star Wars Canyon" that leads into Death Valley for these training evolutions frequently.

And I'm pretty sure she is easier to understand when she isn't angry.
