That’s fuckin neatYes. It was made by one of the members in the early 2000s. I offered to build a new one, but they pulled this one out of the back of a garage. I spent the last week rehab'n it. It is your typical 20° ramp to measure the flex of your Jeep. A perfect score would be to get your back tires right up to the base while ascending the ramp without having any of your tires off the ground. This would give you a perfect Ramp Travel Index (RTI) of a 1000. Nowadays, with the more flexy rides, the ramps are 30 degrees or higher.
Its roughly to indicate what you can climb while still having your other 3 tires on the ground to provide traction.
My profile pic is on a 35° ramp.
Here's a guy from the club that scored higher than a 1000 RTI. (rear tire is passed the end of the ramp)That’s fuckin neat
it took me 1 hr 45 mins to get to your post. it looks like you are ok. but the real question is. did the jeep survive?
But you people don't care if my house slides off in to the pacific.
only one way to find out.I don't know if MAX likes Bourbon though.
Rich and I worried about the cats. LOLit took me 1 hr 45 mins to get to your post. it looks like you are ok. but the real question is. did the jeep survive?
Thinking it was the "can opener" that f'd things up by causing an "earthquake" by removing those walls and the "catwalk" LOLwhat in taking care of themself or checking on @Steveo
Yep, other variables important to overall performance off/on road. CG, wheelbase, axle width, are dang important as well.I knew a guy down in Texas who built his rig with as much flex as he could. He'd win the flex competitions. But when he hit the trails he couldn't keep up on the trails. He was too tippy and would flop it on simple off camber spots.
He had to put in antirocks just to be able to keep up on the trail.
What's the prize for the flex competition? Rogaine? Viagra?I knew a guy down in Texas who built his rig with as much flex as he could. He'd win the flex competitions. But when he hit the trails he couldn't keep up on the trails. He was too tippy and would flop it on simple off camber spots.

A Yoga mat and a convincing instructor? What's the prize for the flex competition? Rogaine? Viagra?
