There are sooo many posts to catch up with today. Where to begin?

I think it's more like 3rd at this point. 🥶
Naup, it's gone. Woke up this morning, couldn't breathe, realized the good weather had disappeared.

Ya gotta have the leather bound edition BTW.

He did kill it.

I have a nice leather bound version and may dig it out of storage in a few months and give it a read. I could only watch about 15 seconds of that video, so I think I'll stick with the book. (Mostly just the visuals are totally off.)

Just started this a few days ago, however, so it'll be a while.

Thanks, I think it came out well. Nice and proportional with the 37s. Only able to do limited articulation testing at home but no rub for what I can get done. Tracks straight, no wobbles, feels squared away. Took all of Thur, Fri, Sat, Sun, and Mon to get all of the items done around the weather and how worn out I was, but overall no issues.

Tell me about it. Some masochist at JKS decided that 190 ft-lb wasn't enough for the front LCAs. Their torque spec is 207 ft-lb.

Somehow, I ended up with a free hr at the first of the audits. The person I am supposed to be auditing right now is on vacation this week and was audited last week...so...I thought I would drop in and say "Hi!!".
Not for those scared of insects:

Spindle nut on a 3500 ram front axle is like 276 ft-lb. It's why I have my biggest torque wrench.

Keel bolts on sailboats. It's why I have a 1200 ft-lb torque multiplier.

Yeah you really have to haul on the wrench to set those babies. That's why it's called keelhauling.
