I'm exhausted and completely unmotivated today.

So I accomplished a ton of work today, as hoped. I always have to wait for some spark of inspiration.

My weekends usually work like this:

There has been so much debris on the roads around here lately. I spent 15min when I got to work Tuesday trying to figure out who to call about a 1ft (or wider) tire sitting in the middle of the highway. I hope it was just the big rubber replaceable part, but still.

Inquiry. If Jeep\Stellantis claims the new HD axel option is what'll give the 2024MY the upgraded towing capacity (whatever that turns out to be) wouldn't that mean you can achieve the same thing on an older jl, like say a JLUd, by swapping to tons?

The rating is based on more than just the motor and axle. I would think cooling, suspension, etc would all have to be addressed for higher tow rating.

That was my thought, but if it's tied to the HD axel, which is what's been said so far, not a lot else it could be.
I think it's just a marketing ploy.

That tire really took on a life of its own as if controlled by Satan himself. In MD, we've had two pretty major disasters on the road recently.

A Sheetz tanker was cut off and to avoid hitting cars, he went off the road and into a tree. The tanker burst into flames, killed the driver, and spread to nearby houses on the other side of the tree line. One house totally gutted. The other had a car flip over a jersey barrier and kill 6 construction workers.
