i've been hearing a lot of that the bfg are bad on wet roads. i can't recall that when my brother had them on is jeep.

I'm not sure what changed, but I haven't had issues in the rain, puddles, or whatever. I can break them loose of coarse, but it's not a surprise.

If I had a diesel, I'd be plugging in the block heater just so that I didn't have to wait forever for heat. Doing so also greatly extends the life of the starter and reduces engine wear. Common rail diesels have folks spoiled with how easy they start when it's frosty. When I was a lad in central Maine, it was common for trucks and heavy equipment to be left running 24/7 during the winter.

I'm often winterizing boats when the temps are hovering around freezing. Occasionally I'll encounter an engine that is so cantankerous it requires a heat gun blowing in the intake to get enough warmth in the cylinders to initiate something resembling combustion.

Yeah, I think some of these guys are doing it for the views, lol. They hardly ever have functioning glow plugs...

I have given them guns for years. They are both like hey, I will have to buy another safe. I plan to giving them each a decent size safe with guns and such when we eventually downsize . They each received a nice Colt AR and a Glock of their choice for their 21st birthday.

My oldest son really doesn't care about his guns at home and never shoots them. He is in the military and a weapons instructor for his area. He says things like, Took three guys to the range and we shot 23,000 rounds of ammo. He gets to shoot the cool shit.

He calls it getting paid to do the things he loves. He has 12+ years in and will retire out of the Army. He loves to embrace the suck.
