I think the tow rating on Wranglers is limited by the short wheelbase more so than the cooling capacity.

According to one of the engineers that interviewed during the jl release, it's the suspension, that limits them.
Should also be noted that both 2, and 4 door broncos are rated 3500lbs as well.
Personally I think it's all bs to push North American consumers into purchasing two vehicles instead of one.

I'm a fan of the winning team and hated watching that game. I want to say it was just a great defensive game, but I can't.
