Yep, we've seen them 5x, best show we saw w/ them was in El Paso, had like 4th row in a super acoustic theater!
I saw them with cold opening for them in a pretty small venue. Got to meet them, awesome dudes, it was GA so for most of it I was right at the stage. I am still deaf and no I don't jump into the pit...
Just to follow the "long marriage plus jeep" idea...in this pic is my first jeep...a 49 Willys Wagon, and our first child, born 1972 when we'd been together three years. I had to lift Abi into the jeep when we went to the hospital to deliver the boy.Guess I'll chime in on the long term marriage thing...Nancy and I have been married since 1976; definitely a keeper!
OK, the Jeep connection...this girl I knew from work and school (but had never dated) told me she had never gone for a Jeep ride, so we spent a long day in the San Bernardino mountains (Big Bear area) just doing easy stuff in my CJ5, and ended the (at this point very long) day "rescuing" an older couple who learned the hard way about ground clearance.
Anyway, excuse the poor quality photo, but here's a photo from that fateful "just friends" day trip that led to our marriage.
I still remember, quite fondly, my favorite taco joints from Oceanside. I haven't lived there since 2009...So many sad reactions to this.
Well we've got these newfangled VoIP phones that spaz out if you try to dial outside the company. I really wish I could just dial a freaking number and the call go through...
