Walnut = $11.741/bf
That chunk of Sapele was $18
The chunks of Padauk totaled $22

Almost $200 for what's in the picture. 10bf of Walnut was the bulk of the cost.

edit: I've paid as much at $14/bf for Walnut in the past.

Not bad, always remember walnut, and the cost, since I loved to use it when I was in college (studying to be an Industrial Arts teacher - back when they had those). Not having a lot of money it was always a question of walnut or eating on the cheap.

So, I think I'm on day 8 or something in this hotel. I finally ran through the 2 plastic cups and 3 towels they provided when I checked in.

I rang the front desk for replacements and they brought up these stupid cups. Looks like I'm doing Dark and Stormy shooters tonight instead of enjoying a proper drink.

(Bright side: They gave me bath towels instead of hand towels.)

I can't wait to get home Thursday.

Fortunately the borrowed Window units are making the house livable.
