Still love the old one. Great for tonight’s burgers and this morning’s omelettes.

I will always like the original on my early edition piece. But I wouldn’t mind a new brand. Especially since I don’t have a GFY brand on mine.

My GFY board is in daily use in the bird shelter, where upwards of 10 lbs of fruit and veg get diced daily. In case anyone cares, we use a group of Tosagata knives that I got before prices went nuts...deba, nakiri, and santoku.

so here i'm waiting for my lunch at the pizza shop. this guy comes in to order pizza.

the guy. i want 8 slices of pizza.
worker. why dont you get a large pie.
the guy. how many slices in a pie.
worker. 8.
the guy. 8 people wants pizza. how many people can eat with 8 slices.
worker. 1 slice per person.
the guy. ok i'll buy a pie.
worker. it will be ready in 20 mins.
the guy. but whats on the pizza.
worker. cheese. was there any thing else you want on it.
the guy. no, but the 8 people want 2 slices of pizza. how do i do that with 8 slices.
worker. just order 2 pies. that will give you 16 slices. so 2 slices per person.
the guy. how many slice will 8 people get with 16 slices.
worker. 2.
the guy. ok i buy 16 slices of pizza.
worker. just buy 2 large pizzas. that will give you 16 slices.
the guy. ok but the people want different things on the pizza.
worker. what do they want.
the guy. cheese. but some want pepperoni.
worker. how many want pepperoni.
the guy. 8.
worker. ok 1 cheese pie and one pepperoni pie.
the guy. so 8 people will get pepperoni. what about the other 8 that want cheese.
worker. one pie will have 8 slices of pepperoni and the other pie will have 8 slices of cheese.
the guy. oh. i can just buy slices vs buying a pie.
worker. (at this point, ready to throw him out) said yes, just to shut him up.
the guy. ok order that.

What the....

Unless he was the Pizza Employee's 2nd Grade Math teacher I want to smack around whoever sent him to buy Pizza...
