Jeep humor waiting room ( ** NO POLITICS ** )

Some observations while I'm waiting for a call from Craig at Koons to tell me the ETA (it's built but stuck because of delivery issues):

- I have slightly lower mpg, but I will be using less fuel annually (apparently "Standard pickups" drive less than "Small SUV 4WD")
- More made in US of A ('merica..... f*ck yeah!)
- Transmission from US rather than Japan
- Even though I will produce more CO2, I will feel better about it

- I'll have almost 2x better LED (they are almost twice the effing price, so it has to be better, right? right?)
- also, almost 2x the price (so 2x better) Cold Weather Group (ok, fine, I also get a remote start, bcs it's an auto)

yeah, ok, i went overboard and ordered everything I didn't order on wrangler and regret.

I have heard of someone attempting to put a manual in an EV conversion, but how would they even know when to shift?

Koons dealership In Connecticut?

There are several in MD In fact, many years ago I bought a Toyota Corolla from Koons. First week I had it the ignition went out. I was the only one at the "New Car Welcome" catered dinner who had to drive there there in a rental car
(btw, within the next 6 months the dealer had the car more than I did until I finally took a huge hit and unloaded it)

What sucks for me is every time I think about getting a Manual Jeep, I get stuck in stop and go traffic to remind me of how much it sucks. Sucks even worse on the Yamaha, working that clutch in and out constantly.

Yes, blasphemy, I know... Two reasons:
- Wife doesn't drive manual and with a growing family we are running into situations where that becomes more and more of a nuisance
- I wanted to max out towing capacity, and with a manual, it's only 4500 lbs, while with auto it's 7000 lbs

I know.. i know... i'm still coming to terms with the fact that I gave up a manual AND PAID EXTRA FOR IT
