I was thinking about running separate power to the windows with a switch I can turn on when I’m going to sleep in the back. Not sure if that would cause any other problems. It’s just a motor right?
Actually no.

The window switch uses the CAN bus to signal the motor. You could hot wire it but it's not as easy as hooking up +12V.

Edit: that may not apply to the Wrangler. It does when the switch is in the door on other vehicles.

I like that when I log in to my employer's "training for dummies" web site it pops up a dialog that says "Login procedure is changing on August 14th!" and here it is November. :swear:

What's this eve you speak of :whatsgoingon: :bandit:
While it no longer applies to me, it’s still important to others here. It’s not been that long ago it mattered to me! Just trying to think of our still working Jeepers.

I think a 1800 would be an upgrade. That one was 1600, maybe. It might even be the 32 hp. Way under powered, but considering the brakes, maybe not.
Split front windshield, so you may be right about the 1600. I just remember my Dad and my Aunt had 1800CC busses from the 70s

Me and my wife love ribeyes (because I'm the best steak burner that ever lived), used to be at least once a month, during summer months maybe once a week. I think now it's gonna be once a year at bonus time 😭 .
