Mornin Jeeple!

Jeep Dog in Training (JDiT) has zero concept on the merits of sleeping in. On a good note, she did great froading yesterday! We have weaned her from the comfy security mommas busom to riding on her own in the back seat. She slept the whole time, but she didn't puke, pee or poop in the Jeep. I'm so proud!

ok. i'm going to venture out to get gas, lunch and try to get back in the house before any trick or treaters sees me. yes i did get a bag of reese peanut buttercups and planning in not ansewing the door. NOT SORRY!!!

made it back without getting caught. so the reese is all for me. beside all the little brats are at the firehouse for the halloween fun.

Bacon is all sliced up...that is a mound of bacon...hahaha

It is all sealed away...we have 6-1 lb packs and 4-1/2 lb packs plus a little over a lbs in our fridge for eating now...plus what we had for ourselves this morning. LOL And we only had a little "scrap". Best yet...when we cook bacon, we have the BEST smoked bacon grease to use for other cooking.

It turned out SO much better than we expected. We will DEFINITELY be doing this again.

I usually don't get trick or treaters, so I felt bad not having any candy to give one that came a knocking. I did give him a heart felt thank you for dropping a kitchen garbage bag at the cans on his way down my driveway.
