Not only do you not need them, but they are harmful in so many ways (at least, the resulting hyperinsulinemia.) I'm also avoiding all seed oils. If one simply avoids corporately molested or created foods they go a long way to avoiding both.That is partly why we are doing this. We have been low carb for a while now...Monica is trying the carnivore thing. I love meat but I am not going to go that hardcore. Low carb has been working just fine for me. I am down about ~50lbs in 5-6 months. All it takes is getting it in your thick head that you really don't need those carbs and sugars. After that, it is easy. HAHA
In fact, we even treated ourselves to some carnivore mac and cheese this weekend.

It was actually tastier than I thought it would be. But next time, I am going to brown the "mac" before adding the cheese sauce to it.
I'm about to do a 90 day B³E challenge. Beef, Bacon, Butter & Eggs only.
Vegetables are overrated, too.
I might have to try that M&C recipe!
