Find a used stang! Not that the used market is great right now either. But even in this market you can save some coin going used. Might even find one with low miles and leftover factory warranties.stopped but the ford dealer on my way to the grocery store and checked out the wildtrac bronco.

yeah i could. but, most of the used stangs (or other sports cars) that are available around here have a high chance of being abused. so that make me leery on a 2nd hands car. the best way is to get one from a private adult owned sale. still have to be careful with that. i rather go new or get one off from a friend. but the end of the year deals is something to keep an eye on. i wouldnt mind finding a 1989 mustang gt in excellent shape for a decent price.

Get an XL with the STX package. The only thing I miss having is a real center console. The little jump-seat thingy blows. But I'm gonna pick up a used center console from EBay at some point and swap it in. You'd be surprised how many features the low trim level F-150s have now. Collision warning, backup camera, power everything, intermittent wipers etc.
looks great. all that extra work is worth it. just one little suggestion if i may add. put a sealant on the bare wood. it will last longer.I fucking quit...I don't care if she likes it or not...oh wait ..we are

Humor over silicone
if i was to order, this is the way i would go. xl regular cab 2 wheel drive short bed. 5.4, auto. no added options. that would get me under $30k. then add a nice tire / wheel combo and maybe 1-2 inch lower springs. i would make my own "lightening" sport truck. i would do the same if it was a dodge or chevy. same goes with the mid size truck.
