I'm with cosine. It's an anti-theft device IMO. They get a lot of money for those high end over-the-shoulder-boulder-holders and other naughty accoutrement.

Just had an attempted break in at the other end of the farm. Couple people walking around my great aunt's house, checked her car, and were holding a light up to the back windows tryin to see in. They took off she got up with her gun, and started flipping lights on.
