Oh, this makes me cry on so many levels, as a person who:
- recognizes a pc motherboard
- had that very model of a cheapo RadioSnack soldering iron (I've upgraded to Hakko fx-888D)
- dabbled in electronics
- dabbled in photography and tried stock photography


I'm just curious, what exactly is she supposed to be doing? removing a chip?

There is actually a lot wrong with that picture, but it's funny.

I only notice the glaring error of how she's holding the soldering iron, but more are bound to have been made.

Update. Mom, and Dale still symptomatic. Dad now starting to show symptoms. Chris, and I are non symptomatic. Sister in law still sick, but both nephews now tested negative. Uncle is still in pretty rough shape.
Papaw can now talk on the phone, but he told mom he was really worried. Fighting, but he's really rough.

Will keep your family in my thoughts Rich. I have a friend in Kansas who is currently in the hospital with this crap (she is doing ok, I think) and found out yesterday that one of our Engineering Center Directors passed away from it on Tuesday. He was doing ok then went downhill fast. Hoping everyone stays safe!

bad news here on the medical front as well. My mother-in-law, (89yo I believe), had a stroke and seizure at the same time yesterday afternoon. She has a DNR directive so the hospital basically could only give her some meds. Hospital sent her back to the nursing home and called hospice care. My wife drove up to see her (2.5 hrs away) as soon as she received the news. Prognosis is not good. Ended up canceling my trip/reservations for the Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion. Looks like 2021 is going to be a banner year, I lose my mother and her possibly lose hers a few months apart.
