Korean Winter immediately makes me think of the Chosin Reservoir.

My uncle was there with Chesty (BAR Marine - heavy weapon for one person to lug around). Anyway he didn't discuss it much but when I mentioned the cold of Korea we both had something to relate to. I was miserable and I didn't have a couple of hundred thousand Chinese trying to kill me, amazes me how they endured this and fought their way out at the same time.

Now that I think about it, it shouldn't amaze me - they were Marines.

In my defense, I had to get up at 7:20 and stumble down to the labcorp, wait for them to enter my Doctor's orders in to their system, then get poked with a sharp needle, then think I lost my truck key (it was on the passenger seat), all before my first cup of coffee!

Now I got a dental appointment (again!) at 11:20 and then I hafta go to the office and test some shit and shit.
