lol, those early cats looked like bricks! All of the manufacturers had a different reaction too. Pontiac supersized their motors and still wound up with something like a 150 Hp engine that displaced more than 8 liters.

Hahahaha it’s something eh! I have the original L82 hood for as well but this one was with the car and after a little research I found out it’s a limited production Vanacor corvette summer hood. Company went under years ago when the owners son came in and shot up the place killing his father. Figured it makes an interesting conversation piece so kept it on.

agreed. lower center of gravity helps in keeping the toppings on the chips. also reduces the stress on the chip from breaking.
