Have to get the eww car out of the shop this weekend. Least she’s only in for a fuel pump relocate. Kept getting heat soaked wheee I originally mounted it, damn side pipes

I don't envy using the PRC-25s and especially the 77s with the KY-38s. We still had a few KY-38s for our old UHF radios when I first joined. The PRC-117 and later the PRC-152 could do both VHF and UHF and considerably lightened our load in the Firepower Control Team.
I'm pretty sure the damn things absorbed sweat. Supposed to weigh about 25 lbs, but by the end of a patrol, felt more like 50.

That intake is no joke!
It’s a little Euro feeling but it has enough flow while fitting under a stock cowl hood. I tried a few drop bases on it when I first built the car but the bowls are so big on the carb they wouldn’t sit low enough to clear the hood

Kevlar was the same. The lighter my radios got the heavier my body armor managed to get.

All good so far. A few new floaties, but he told me there would be some. He said they'll go away in a bit. Might be a tad clearer too.

I'm a bit confuzzled. Looks like a C5 hood emblem, but that ain't a C5. 67ish?
Lol she’s a 76, last year of the stingray and the year of the Chevy Vega steering wheel hahaha
Previous owner did a number on this car, C5 flags up front, C4 lettering on the back and had wood screws holding what was left of the car together
He tired to put a old B&M ratchet shifter in it and didn’t know what to do with the HVAC controls so he shoved them under the dash. It got lodged turning on the heat to your feet lol first few rides before I tore it apart I couldn’t figure out why my feet would be burning

It’s actually scares me! When the motor was freshly built it was dyno’d at 492hp, figure she’s close to 500 now it’s broken in. Such a light car and sitting on coil overs, it will plant that power hard or break loose in a blink of an eye

Yeah I was about to say it didn't look like the original 200 Hp motor, lol!

Reading up on the C3 it doesn't look like the car's specs were the same for more than a year, maybe two.

Good for you on giving it some much needed love.
Was a super fun build, biggest headache out of everything had to be the headlights. Everything was missing and sourcing all the mounts and hardware was bloody expensive
