So, on the build n price, I could get a sport, ecodiesel for around 48k. As close as what I really wanted as possible in a sport jlu.

On the bronco, I can get every single option I want, including the marine grade vinyl interior, except for the diesel engine. All in for 47k.

Damn it jeep! Get competitive for real!!

Diesels are pretty spendy. I really wish they weren't.

Edit: upgrading to the Diesel costs almost as much as what I paid cash for my Dakota... I just now realized that. :headbang:

You know, I like the Idea of the Bronco... but every now and then I get reminded of why a solid front axle is good. I just walked passed supervisor's F-150 and the tread pattern is wearing out on the outer edge much faster than the inner edges of his front tires... Something I DON'T miss about the Ram.

Even without the diesel, a comparatively spec'd Sahara is almost 10k more than its ford cousin.
If jeep could atleast give me a waterproof interior option that didn't break the damn bank, that'd definitely put me in favor of the jeep.

As is, if ford ever drops a diesel in the bronco, I don't think I could resist. Especially if you could still get their automatic 4wd with it.

Doing a sas is still way easier than going the other way. Lol

Once Broncos start selling, Jeep "may" revisit their prices.

What specific build are you going with for the Bronco? Outer Banks?
