I can't blame ya. Skipping the AEV bumper I wanted since 2018. It's finally out and way over priced.
i hear you. i was looking off and on at the aev bumper too. figured the arb was a better choice. then ended up getting the lod bumper instead. lod is just as good and easy on the wallet.

I'm looking at MetalCloak's bumpers now. Already have their tire carrier and rock slider/steps.

For a jl, I love the AEV rear bumper.
My options for this wk2 are a little more limited. Lol

I know this is the JHWR. Have any of you guys replaced the batteries in your JL yet? I have just over 37,000 miles on mine and my 3 year warranty was up in Early March. I just got back from taking Mom to Pawley's Island last week. I went to go for a ride this morning and my JL was dead as a doornail. I took the battery out and tried to charge it with no luck. Have not decided what I am going to do yet ... replace both batteries myself or take it to the dealership. My main goal right now is to get it started and out of the metal building I have it parked in. Thankfully I still have my 2014 Acura TSX to drive in the meantime. I am just glad my Jeep didn't pull this trick while we were at the beach last week.
