Well, he did say I could get them in 35" but I don't have a lift so I can't do that. I just want 33" for now. Not once did he say WHY I can't get them in 33" - do they not fit my axle? I mean, what's the f'n reason, so I can fix that reason and get some damn 33's. Le Sigh. Going to go visit an actual 4x4 shop today to see what they can do for me. This was tire discounters that said "no."Oh yes you can get 285/70R17 Cooper SST Pros... the stock size for Rubicons and they will fit on a Sport. Whoever told you otherwise can go pound sand!
I am obviously not that smart. I had heavy Jeep parts in the bed of the truck for several months after the work was done on the Jeep. Now I can't give the stock parts away. Heck, and I'm no light weight myself. I need a truck to haul my fat arse around!Oh yeah it did make the long trips easier. I just figured filling it up made the truck that much heavier and effected around town fuel economy so I only did half a tank when I was just driving to work and back.
I would say that, you're thinking of Mike, but he rode a Brontosaurus, and school hadn't been invented yet.Didn't you used to walk to school in a foot of snow and mud, up a 23 degree incline, 15 miles and barefoot???? But your Jeep couldn't hang?
Have you met the rest of us?!? *cough*stefano*cough*I am obviously not that smart. I had heavy Jeep parts in the bed of the truck for several months after the work was done on the Jeep. With a shovel.
Yes, a different tire shop won't throw away your business like that. I've seen plenty of Sports with 33s on their stock wheels.Well, he did say I could get them in 35" but I don't have a lift so I can't do that. I just want 33" for now. What is a "full timer"? Arent you full time?My full-timer is back from vacation tonight. He's been struggling with the fallout of my departure from the safety committee pretty much since he stepped foot into the building. Been funny as shit to watch him flounder. He wants to have a one on one sit down with me in the office about my decision, but I declined. He went pretty red in the face when I said no.
Poor lil fella.
Honey, I ain't no litebrite chick (unfortunately).Have you met the rest of us?!? *cough*stefano*cough*
Ain't no light weights here, cept the lady folk.
My 97 Ram was a 35 gal. I had no trouble putting $100 in it.Looks familiar. The 36 gallon tank on my truck really sucks to look at the cost to fill it when you run it real low. My last fillup was $86.00 and gas has gone up since that.
