I was a fan briefly when I lived in Auburn.Don't tell anyone, but that's what I've started calling fans of the local NFL team
body armor. i like it. i'm tinkering with the "thumping" / "bounce" noise around the spare tire / swing arm area. i acures when i go over rough spots on the road. the noise is coming from the rubber mount that contact the swing arm. i've been adding the supplied shims. so far i've quieted it down.Who makes this bumper/tire carrier? Looks like a great setup
came out pretty good. The task is complete except for it to set some more before I put the covers back on the outlets.
and this time my back did hurt by the time I got done. (there just might be quite a bit of grout hiding on the floor behind the stove)

chech your pm. i sent a couple of pics. look at the last one you can see the upper rubber spacer that i'm dealing with. if i'm thinking in the right direction. the tighter "contact" to the swing arm should eliminate the problem. btw. that last pic shown is when the tale gate is open. what are you running? or you are looking into getting one.I used a hole saw and cut 1 inch spacers from a rubber mat to add to my spare tire bumpers
