Welp, the Jeep got more money.

I couldn't let the Jeep be the only vehicle I've ever owned not get a bit of audio love.

I'm going to have some JL Audio leftovers from the F150 project. I'm pretty sure they'll make their way in to the JL at some point.

I think I'm going to put the 6.5s in the lower dash area using these...

Then maybe put 6.5s in the sound bar, too, using these...

I'm not thrilled about cutting the sound bar mounts, tho.

I guess the dash disassembly is extensive to get the Metra pods in.

I've already pulled the dash apart once to paint the panels and stuff the current boxes with fiber fill. It's not great searching for the little tabs but it's not too rough taking it apart.

Go slow and try to pull evenly.

Did you notice an improvement from the polyfil? I'll do that if I end up doing the project. (I'm 90% there)

More from that craziness...

Apparently, the police force isn't exactly robust where they are (South Africa?)
Crazy when you are going through some shit like that, you say "Phone Robbie, phone Josh" instead of "call the police"

It really helped my Subaru build, but I can't say I noticed much with the Alpine system in the JL. I did quiet a few rattles and vibrations with the fill and some strategically located foam/cloth tape.
