We've had an array on the parrot building for 5 years, and are about to start the install on a system for our house. 7.5 kw on each.

My roof isn't the greatest layout to accommodate a large system, plus there are vent pipes that further complicate it. A few years ago they said "no can do". It'll be interesting to see what they tell me today.

celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary this weekend. Very expensive dinner on tap for tomorrow evening. Sunday will be church, picking up dog poop and mowing grass

All taxes and fees. Not sure how it works in Commiefornia, but here you "bank" any extra you produce, which is important in summer when the AC is cranked. Last summer I didn't have much banked and I think the highest bill I had was $180.
