If you are thinking outside the Box, how would the Wrangler fit in? ;-)

Ok, I was sitting outside the box looking at my box (wrangler) and thinking there is no way in hell I would every think about getting a corola or prius. LOL Oh...and since the wrangler is pretty square...it would fit in a box quite nicely.

I was about to say you drove up the edge and out of the box while the Prius was stuck inside. lol.

Hmmm....I might want to know more about this build. I have a 5x7 utility trailer that could probably be retrofitted to become an off-road trailer. Most interested in suspension.

https://www.outofboundsoffroadtrailers.com/trailers.html

The site says:

  • Solid 3500lb axle on 2250lb 29" leaf springs (Upgrade to Timbren axles *without electric brakes* for $400)
I'll be going for the Timbren axles with matched 5x5 hubs so I can fit another set of matched wheels and tires from the Jeep. Let me know what it costs you to get the same, as retrofitting a $1,470 Aluma utility trailer may be the better path.

Interesting that it would have a solid axle under it but it makes sense since the Jeep is also solid axled. The timbren axles are interesting. You would get independent suspension with those and the trailer could possibly be more stable off-road than the Jeep.

I already have a solid axle on leaf springs but mine isn't rated near that much. I have thought about swapping over to a Torsion Axle system but I like the idea of the timbren system of being axle-less. Less things to get hung up on while off-road.

I've seen some crazy things loaded on vehicles in Iraq. How do you move cattle AND 13 family members? Kia Bongo!

No way that's in the US, right? I can't imagine that the Big Box corps would take on that kind of liability, yikes!
He must be related to the guy I saw at the dirt yard telling them to put a cubic yard of topsoil in the bed of his half-ton truck.
