Actually heard a good story on that on the radio this morning. It sounds like it's less effective (according to the Doctor/expert being interviewed) but that is apparently the simplest way to describe the test results. He said the J&J vaccine is just as good as the others, and one of the things to consider in that was that the J&J testing results includes variants, whereas the others did not.

the Pfizer 96% and moderna is 94 or 95. J&J say with their vaccine if you contract the virus you won’t be hospitalized.

Real world numbers, according to emergency management, is only about 65/66% effective for Pfizer or Moderna.
Still better than nothing.

Have to love the VA auto texting - received the same text as you. Mine said reply confirm and when you are available between 10-13 March. I replied confirm available any day, kept receiving no response. Finally just typed "confirmed" and it came back with with a date and time (I didn't get a choice). Anyway I'm under 65 so they are making them available.

Okay all caught up after a day of terrain appreciation at the golf course. Read all the dog posts (good and bad) with a smile on my face since we have two that do most of the observations. Know we all wouldn't have it any other way.

Made it to work. Saw a sidexside roll over on our road on the way in. He was on the road, and lost control when he hit the ditch as I came up to him. He just didn't slow down enough, and he panicked. He didn't even have to get off the road in the first place.
Helped get him out, and get the right flipped back upright. He's gonna be sore tomorrow, but otherwise fine. We waited till his wife, and dad showed up to get him home.

I got the date and time and immediately replied yes to confirm I was available... and then I was promptly rewarded with a message saying that time was no longer available. lol
