Mornin Jeep Peeps!
Bed removed from bedroom to make room for today's stuff. Office cleared of ONE borrowed chair and lamp moved to make room in there too. Everything else is already empty.
The fun starts around 0830 local.
Those are nice wheels!This.
I really wanted the 5.7L swap for Wanderer, but the local shop says no can do with the manual?
The 392 sounds so good that I might have to have 2 more doors and an auto to get it. My question is, why no desert rated 392?
Oh, back to your point Steve, I'd really like those bronze wheels and accents.
YES! I came so close to getting a Nissan because of this! The 5.0 cummins!!!
The current 6 speed doesn't have the torque rating for that V8...you'll shear the teeth off of first or second gear. So, FCA would need to source a new manual for a manual V8 option. Thus...they won't do it.This.

You just need to press it in a little more! After a lot of diggin through the wiring harness, we found this. Could barely see anything wrong lookin down at it from overhead. Never seen one burnt, but not blown. Everything seems to be fine now. We suspect the old, bad fuel pump was pullin too much juice, and fried the fuse.
I wonder if it'd shoehorn into the jl hood better than a 5.9...YES! I came so close to getting a Nissan because of this!
Did you get the new carpet installedMornin Jeep Peeps!

Use the manual from the Challenger...The current 6 speed doesn't have the torque rating for that V8...you'll shear the teeth off of first or second gear. So, FCA would need to source a new manual for a manual V8 option. Thus...they won't do it.
