I had made the arrangements with my mother via text for someone to pick me up at the dealer when I turn my car in. She, of course, explained it to dad that I need him to be there & help me. Ummm, no.

So yesterday....
Dad: you need me to go with you when you take your car back?
Me: no, I just need a ride home.
Dad: you’re not buying another car from them?
Me: no, I’m buying a Jeep.
Dad: what?! I thought you were kidding.
Me: no, why would I kid about that??
Dad: where are you getting it from? Is that where you need a ride to?
Me: I need a ride home, the Jeep isn’t even built yet.
Dad: oh it’s a 2019?

*I have to admit, that kind of stung....lol*

Me: no, it’s a 2018. Brand new model year & they haven’t started building the 2 doors yet.
Dad: How many people does it fit?
Me: four
Dad: two doors?
Me: yes
Mom: yeah, with a top that comes OFF
Me: damn right it does. So do the dooooooors!!!
Mom: ohhh my god *yadda yadda yadda, random grunts & noises while I laughed at her*

That might have sealed the deal with doors needing to come off. Just cuz I can!!! I gotsa at least try it, am I right?!

Ok, cleaned 3 toilets and vacuumed upstairs and down. Guess I've earned a break for lunch! Later.....

Yeah, especially since it’s easier now, and don’t forget the windshield too as that’s SOoo much easier now too.
