It's hard to judge times well with a break in the cooking. Just remember that you want to get it to where the thermometer slides in like it's going into butter. Just a little bit of resistance. So far 11 hours at 180 degrees smoke. Will go 12 hours and then wrap and store it in the oven overnight.
225 degrees for 2-3 hours tomorrow for the cook phase.
3rd day of being sick. Skipping thanksgiving dinner. Still have a fever of 101, chills and body aches. It has been decades since I was sick like this. The runnnose and head congestion it the most irritating thing about it.Get well soon, Ted. @wibornz
Zycam works wonders for us. If it's a cold. Flu would be a bigger PITA. The liquid Tylenol cold & flu stuff helps a lot with body aches, and the nasty tasting blue one helps with congestion. I usually use Mucinex sinus for nasal congestion. It helps, but I've not found anything that completely shuts it down for more than a little while, except the bennedrex nasal inhaler. It really only works on the swelling in the sinuses though. Not the runniness.3rd day of being sick. Skipping thanksgiving dinner. Still have a fever of 101, chills and body aches. Some of my friends ask if I have lost my sense of taste, Nope, still like Jeeps and blondes. So I must not have covid.
I never get sick so we have none of that stuff. Carla is using her homemade stuff like garlic cloves soaked in honey, and fire cider, and something she calls a flu bomb. I don't know what's in it, but I d know it has a bunch of cyan pepper.Zycam works wonders for us. If it's a cold. Flu would be a bigger PITA.
