i think the mojave comes with the steel knuckles as well. also a thicker / beefier frame like the diesel.
I didn’t know about any frame reinforcements for the diesel. Cool if true.

Coal made it through balljoint surgery yesterday. Those OE balljoints are complete trash.

He also got a set of XR fender spats.
I think it may be time for balljoints.
Time for something anyway, just haven't tracked it down yet.
Anytime I come back down over a speedbump, I get a clunking noise.
But only speedbumps, never anything at speed on the road, just slow over speedbumps. And never on the way up the speedbump, only the way down and impacting the ground again.

Haven't really checked torque, but everything is solid other than the tie-rod, though everything I've read says that it should have some play.

You shouldn’t have any slop in the tie rod. Check your shock mounts too.

Horrible little creatures! I remember my grandmother always had a couple and when we'd go to visit they were all nippy and shit. Hated the little fuckerz. :giggle:

My diesel JLU came with aluminum. I think that's a JT thing the JL doesn't get.
is your jlu frame thicker /beefier for the diesel motor vs the gas motor?
