Not going to lie, the group I'm hiking up Pike's Peak with wants to hike that thing.

Sketchy.

I don't think Boldy even has a "good" month for hiking.
Extra no thanks beyond just the hiking doing one thats known for people to end up dead on.

Actually there is a few month's that are great to hike "Devil's Backbone" and the other trails. Late April to late September is the prime time. Snow melt usually subsides in late April so creeks get down to a trickle. Experience and planning is key. Most experienced hikers plan accordingly, it's the knucklehead know it alls that get in trouble. Or just plain inexperienced. Guessing y'all get the same in CO. Cheaters can take the ski lift up and it's roughly a mile to the peak. Bonus is where ski lift ends is "The Notch" that serves good food and craft beer. There lots to explore around here. You can see whats left of the test below.

In 1926, the most spectacular of Michelson's experiments split the night sky between Mount Wilson and Mount Baldy**

Got the "target" for the metal frame, the more German Luger look, and it passed the "eyes closed" grip angle test. Plus, the 22/45 has the 1911 angle, but the mag still goes in at the "target" grip angle, which is wonky.
