Happy Friday All!!! TGIF!!! Met with a tax guy last night to figure out what I can and cannot deduct from this "farm". I have a better feeling than I did a day ago. I am sure I am going to get screwed by the goberment...but hopefully this guy will provide some lube. LOL

There are a lot more ranches than farms around here. And ranches tend to be bigger which means fewer people nearby.

And I have no interest in farming/ranching. So whatever the land is good for I'd rent it out for cheap to a local who wants to work it.

That's a solid plan. The hobby farming for me would be mostly an excuse to buy heavy machinery, lol.

Same here. Its a 16 year old Westinghouse that was once considered HD. I don't plan on replacing it until it just doesn't work anymore.
