So I figured out why my new PC wasn't sleeping. It was my Klipsch r-15pm speakers that I had connected to it via USB.

I shoulda remembered that when I first connected them to the new PC I got some weird USB PnP error from Windows until I moved it to another port.

That's the good news.

Anyway, so I'm like "okay, we'll connect to the sound card via analogue. So I look at the back of the primary speaker and there's two L/R RCA jacks. Great, now I gotta find a mini-stereo to RCA adapter. So I go fishing around in my cable bins/boxes for over an hour and can't find one. Then I take another look at the back of the primary speaker and it's got a mini-stereo female jack, which I already had that cable in my chubby little fists before wasting an hour searching for the adapter.

Anyway, she's all up and running and the displays turn off when they should, and she sleeps when she should.

Now I gotta remember all the other shit I tried/changed and undo it.

Even better, turns out the new PC has an optical port and so do the Klipsches, which makes that hour searching for the adapter even more painful.

I went ahead and changed out to the vented rotors. Plenty of pad left. The Jeep is back on the rubber, but I'll need to secure the gas tank if I want to take her out tomorrow.

All this monitor talk made me want to try to run mine 3 wide on my racing sim. I usually only run the ultra wide in the middle. The color is off on the left one because I previously used it exclusively for work and I have eye saver on on it. Also ignore the cable it is also never hooked to my pc only my laptop and I don't have an extra display port cable long enough to connect to it.

Now I have a bezel free kit ordered from "that bezos can't"
