The colder it is, the more Charlie loves to stand there in the doorway instead of going all the way through... :headbang:
Loki does the same.

Then when I open it to let him in, he will just sit and look at me. Then run back into the yard to play ball. lol

Doggie door is not an option. The cat would be eaten and there are more "critters" along the foothills that may use it to come in...

Always.

Moab may be skipped if it's got snow, but I want to see the races. And drive in the desert. And maybe sign a shirt.
I bet Moab with snow is quite a sight to see though!

They have the dog doors that will only open when the right tag gets near them. We have looked into them in the past...but haven't pulled the trigger on one yet.

As for the felines, our cat is a indoor only cat. She has access to the dog door but as far as I know, she hasn't stepped outside it. Now, the other day, Monica had taken Cooper out back and left the door open. When she came back in, the cat was sitting about 2 ft outside the door just looking around. That is probably the only time she has been outside. She will sit at the screen door and look out when the door is open.

I will drive through, but I'm not going on those trails with snow on them. :like:

Plus I'll be wheeling alone unless anyone happens to be there. :bandit:

Yeah, the "slick rock" trails wouldn't be a good Idea to go out alone on.

I was just looking at AZ real estate web sites last night. Especially after I read about Newsom and Co.'s new ideas for a single payer healthcare system and the associated (potential) doubling of (already high) taxes to pay for it. Though, it looks like he's backing away from it today, or so the "news" says.

I think it would be the proverbial "last straw" for a lot of people in this state.

Not sure I could handle the heat, tho.
We were looking in the Prescott AZ area but prices there are starting to rival CA now (should have bought 5 years ago when we first started looking there) While we are still keeping an eye on Prescott we are starting to looking into other areas/states now
