Yeah, but it's fairly easy. Much better than the dash.I have wondered why it is black, and they didn't just make it green. I imagine I have to take the entire grill and headlights and everything off to get them out?
I hear ya. 20 years hovering over a microscope has taken its toll. I've built some tiny-ass circuit boards - one so small we couldn't find it on the floor after someone dropped itIts my general vision I'm more concerned about now as I slowly descend mr magoo's staircase...
Just the Grille. The surrounds will come off in three pieces. In theory you could just get OEM replacements, but I'm not sure if they'll sell individual pieces like that.I have wondered why it is black, and they didn't just make it green. I’m fairly sure replacement pieces aren’t painted either.Just the Grille. The surrounds will come off in three pieces. In theory you could just get OEM replacements, but I'm not sure if they'll sell individual pieces like that.
This is a process I'm going to have to redo soon. I need to do more and thicker coats.
I actually drove to the store like this in between coats, lol.
Kinda foils my plan for a Hypothetical new Willys Jeep for me. lolI’m fairly sure replacement pieces aren’t painted either.
Low on the priority list...
I actually warmed the garage to spray mine, but between sprays I had to open the door and turn the fan on. Man!Also....

We recommend applying when temperatures range from 70 - 80°F, with humidity below 60%, little to no wind. Avoid direct sunlight. Applying in cool temperatures or high humidity can cause longer drying times as well as surface imperfections.
Manual disconnector? Didn't find a way to use the Rubicon auto-disconnect? What stabilizer are you using? I ended up using the stock one when MetalCloak's seemed to add to my pull to the passenger side. :dunno:Low on the priority list...
I've got oil and diff fluid to change, A salvaged steering stabilizer and sway bar with manual disconnector to install as well.
Update on Dad...He went home yesterday. Don't have an appointment scheduled for his oncologist but at least we got a referral to the one closer to his home. The road ahead will be a bumpy one...and he may have to go into 4-low to traverse some of the obstacles, but he knows how to off-road, so he should be fine. LOL He used to have a late-70s Land Rover that he would try to get stuck (he succeeded a few time) in the Panama Jungle.
I will be calling him tonight to see how he is doing.
