My ground was using one of the Jeep's existing wiring ground. Way too much buzzing.

So I moved the amp ground to the base of the passenger seat right with the amp rack mount. That was MUCH better, but there was still a faint whine in the background.

So I turned the gains down a bit, and yay... no more engine whine.

The repair wasn't without casualties. D'oh!
