I’ve seen some of your posts…That how my wife drives my Jeep.
That is why, after shaking your boots out in the morning, you always put your hand in to check before you put your foot in. If your hand gets bit, you can still hike to safety/help. If your foot gets bit, the pain/swelling may prevent you from walking.heh, I found a scorpion under my ruck one time. Made me glad I always stuffed socks into my boots to prevent bugs from exploring them at night.
Gratz, Craig! Why for it ain't lifted, and shit, yet?Morning!

Also why, if possible, you drive a couple of stakes and put the boots upsidedown on them. Admittedly, driving stakes into the ground at Stumps is not an easy thing. That is why, after shaking your boots out in the morning, you always put your hand in to check before you put your foot in. I don't envy using the PRC-25s and especially the 77s with the KY-38s. We still had a few KY-38s for our old UHF radios when I first joined. The PRC-117 and later the PRC-152 could do both VHF and UHF and considerably lightened our load in the Firepower Control Team. Also why, if possible, you drive a couple of stakes and put the boots upsidedown on them. I was really glad that I was in Radio Relay School at MCRD San Diego, and not Air Radio School at 29 Palms. Of course, having done all that school, the first thing they handed me at Dong Ha was a PRC-25. But I was the best-trained humper in the Bn.
