You know, I think you accidently hit the nail on the head. People buy manual transmissions in their Jeeps thinking that they are a semi-automatic transmission like most manufacturers are going to and then bitch when it doesn't downshift for them. I am SO tickled with my Jeep...that I ordered with only the things I wanted, how I wanted them, and at a tick over 60k on it in 3 years, I have and still love to drive it...anywhere...anytime... And cleaning her up this last weekend made me fall in love with her again all over again.

I only just hit 30k.

I need to get out more. Love this Jeep.

I didn't read past the first page. I figured the same three responses are going to be repeated ad nauseum.

• "You should have gotten an automatic"
• "I never use 5th gear either" by someone that drives 95 in 4th gear.
