While taking care of my arachnid friends last night, I noticed something different about one of them.

Yeah...those are eggs under that. It isn't a spider, it is a vinagaroon.

So, a little more about what it is...pretty much it is a direct descendant from the dinosaur days. Very prehistoric looking...right?

Instead of venom, it sprays an acid solution out its hiney. The thick front arms have small pinchers on them that holds onto its prey to eat them. The long thins legs are sensory limbs. They have 8 eyes and are blind as a bat. LOL

I probably won't have babies because she hasn't been with a male since I got her and, while there is a possibility she carried sperm with her or reproduced asexually, it is uncommon. There is a good chance that the egg sack is a phantom sack. It will be 2-3 months before I know if the eggs are viable or not. I am not going to get my hopes up until I see the babies crawling around on her.

I just spent the last two hours trying UNSUCCESSFULLY to get SiriusXM reactivated

The last long trip I made they had a promotion for the day. Well their promotion worked and I wanted XM again.

TWO hours and THREE different employees later NO ONE - including tech support -could figure out how to fix it.

"it will take 2-3 min" ...nope
"it will take 5 min" ...nothing
"it will take 15 min" ...nada

Now I have to wait for them to refund my $77.21 which they insisted on charging me BEFORE they would even try to activate it.

I'm really not looking forward to yet another 9 hour drive tomorrow

We had one on our back patio. The wife dumped half a can of raid on it trying to kill it. Freaked her out, lol. It was at least 3" long. They are also called whiptail scorpions.
