Spoke too soon about the fuse fixing the problem. :asshat::asshat::asshat::mad::angry::angry::angry::angry:

When we messed with the old fuse, it made a drastic improvement. When I replaced it it did perfect all the way to work. 14 volts the entire way.
Started the car, it was at 12.2, and the battery light kicked on again. It slowly dropped to 11.7 over the drive home.

WHAT THE ABSOLUTE FUCK!!!
Alternator ground wire? Check contacts. Clean them all including the battery terminals.

Good Morning. And Gary... heal quick my friend. That looks painful. :surprised:
Thanks, but I think it's better than the first time. I'm still hobbling along.

Will make a trip today for some wraps and a brace if they have one. Not going to scoot around on a cart. :CWL:

Only things it could be is the pigtail for the alternator, the computer, or the fuse box itself. All the terminals, and contact points are clean.

I'm seriously considering just parting the fucking thing out. I won't get anything for it as a whole with a mechanical issue on top of the cosmetic issues, age, and mileage.

I eventually had to do that with my Ford Fiesta. I bought parts by buying whole other non-working Fiestas. Took the parts I needed, and sold the rest for scrap.

Worked through college. Then it was time for someone else to use mine for parts.

My vehicle's have gotten steadily more expensive since.

I actually know someone who's done that with his Chrysler Crossfire...

His wife hit a deer and damaged the headlight. A new Headlight was $300 but he bought a junk Crossfire (with good headlights) for $400 and will just scavenge other good parts off of it and scrap the rest.
