Excel proves its worth again...

pre-typing out a Purchase Order in a spreadsheet with formulas to calculate totals and tax makes this so much easier than doing the math after I hand write the whole thing...

Work? What's that?
I use Excel for all the options I want on my vehicles. The formulas account for various discounts and totals. Thought I was the only one that geeked out on this.

Heh, its come in handy since I made a 6 figure mistake on a PO about a week ago. I still have no Idea how that happened since I usually run through the numbers twice.

So this next PO is just easy... "See attached quote $xxx, xxx"

It makes it so much easier when they quote the quantities we want them to, lol!

I have one that I've been using to track all purchases, maintenance, insurance, fuel... etc

Handy.

I kinda outgrew PowerPoint in 1997. Excel lasted until 2002 or 2003, but I mostly need full databases and actual data analysis scripts.
