So I blame Mike.

That damn Wrikki had me Jonesing for first the Mopar wheels, and then the flexy lift... I really am an easy sell.

Lift due in tomorrow, but the steering bits will not be released until next month I hear.

Then I have the AEV bumpers to look forward to whenever they are released.

Just
Empty
Every
Pocket

So true it hurts. :CWL:

Now, to see some more trails.

Happy Friday Jeeple! :beer::handsinair:

Here's some misc. photos from the Yosemite trip.

Arriving at the Park. The Tunnel View.

We had a great pair of campsites at Crane Flat.

We saw a lot of wildlife including deer and black bears.

There was little-to-no mobile phone/data in the Park. They still have these antiques though.

On day two we hiked to the Tuolumne Grove of Giant Sequoias. These trees are not as big/impressive as what you'll find at the Mariposa Grove, or in Sequoia NP. Still, it was a beautiful place.

My kids and wife all are on the iPhone train. So I gave up my S8 to get Facetime and Apple's proprietary encrypted pictures and video. :asshat:

The Samsung phones use Canon processors and I really love the picture quality of those phones. Maybe I should have just looked to the wife's phone to be included?

Canon's color science has always been (among) the best. I didn't know Samsung was using it.

My latest encounter with corporate America. A few weeks before the Yosemite trip I ordered a high-end cooler from Igloo.com because their web site said it was 17.72" high and I concluded that I could fit it in the 18" high bear lockers at the park. I paid $183 for it. It arrives and it measures 18.25" high. I email them and they apologize for the error and send me a return shipping label. All of their emails mention "may be subject to 20% restocking fee" but I figure they won't charge me because of their error on the web site. Nope, they deducted the restocking fee from my refund. :swear::swear::swear:
That is 100% BS

Also, everyone got a good laugh out of this. We were making reeses peanut butter cup smores. My sister made one for my daughter but forgot to remove the paper liner from the reeses, lol.

I was skeptical about the reeses smores, but they were delicious! (minus the paper)

Just a side note on the Jeep pictures. The info placards are hard to read in the photos but the mine sweeper Jeep, aside from being original, only has 15 miles on the speedometer. By the time it was ready for production, mines were being made out of materials other than metal so it was obsolete.
