Jeep Heroes Drive on the USS Hornet

I went to the Jeep Heroes Drive on the USS Hornet today. Jeep said this was the first, but they may try to repeat it at other locations.

There was some marketing hype (duh), but there were historical displays, lots of new Jeeps (especially Gladiators), and an obstacle course on the flight deck. All this plus the permanent USS Hornet Museum.

It was pretty cool to see Jeeps running around on the deck. Did anyone else go?

That looks like a fun time. Always fun to learn some history and be around others whom enjoy that as well.
