Nothing against Buicks, but if you want to hear the sound of crickets chirping, assemble a room of their owners and enthusiastically ask them, "okay everyone, who's going to customize their rigs?!"
Of those in attendance that know what customization, let alone "rig" means, don't expect many to raise their hand and answer, beyond maybe listing the classic tissue boxes and trunk organizer type wares, and that's even assuming there's a market that sells such goods specific to the Buick brand.
But ask such a question at a meeting of Wrangler owners and expect the opposite to happen. There's a reason why the "What did you do TO your Jeep Today" is one of the bboard's most frequented threads.

The problem is that for most of us, if you want to have the money to buy such goods (not easily made yourself) in this thread and install them, you might need to save some money by making yourself the accessories that can come close to stuff you can buy.
Enter the hack: the way we address Wrangler problems/wants/needs, usually a relatively simple one, by incorporating and repurposing off the shelf items of relatively minimal expense, in unique and creative ways, that either a vendor hasn't addressed before, or does so at a price that might makes us come up with a cheaper, albeit if not sometimes as polished a solution.
