I'm curious about the logistics of getting that thing out of there. It's not like they can drag it off the trail with 3 wheels.

Any recovery experts know how they'd get this back onto pavement?
Field repair and drive out. I’ve been there…

That will be a hefty bill. The diff housing is likely toast, the C will be bent. Wiring for wheel speed sensor pulled out, and brake lines and tierods all mangled. Gonna be a nightmare to sort that all out.
That's only a day's work. Not so bad.

Well, at least it’ll be a story to tell.

Looked like he was trying to turn the wheel pretty aggressively the same time it was starting to bounce.

Retired from Corrections....I have stories.
Eh, nothing new to report here. People ALWAYS flip, break, or slide into the wall here. Cost of doing business. Whenever I am in Moab and I get to a spot where there are spectators recording....that is an FBI clue that stupid tax is being collected there.
Or you have the one guy spotting sending people up crazy lines they have no business being on.

No doors, loaded with passengers, noob driver, dangerous obstacle, inadequate parts, alcohol…This could have been horrific. Years from now the driver will appreciate how much of a bargain this lesson was.
The question is how long will he tell the story?

I drove right by this hole last Saturday. Never had any thoughts of going in there. But then, I didn't sleep in a Holiday Inn nor was I running Amsoil. (But I do have 1410s)
