Current Status of the JLUR!

Hello Everyone,
My name is Kevin. This is going to be a continued updated log of all of our upgrades we have done to our 2018 JLU Rubicon. I have made install videos for every upgrade I have done. The newer videos are better quality than when I started. I try to improve with each one. Feel free to follow along and ask any questions.

First thing we did was add a few little Mopar accessories. Started small.

Next we wanted the Jeep to stand out from every other white JLUR driving around. So we blacked out the grill but left the Rubicon granite trim.

It was time to add a little bit of recovery. We had a winch in mind, but we were waiting for a good steel bumper to come out first. So we added the @Dominion OffRoad Hi-Lift mount to keep the lift out of the elements and from rusting.

My girls wanted some handles to help get in and out, so we got the Mopar ones. Again, not much was out at the time. They have been good.

One of my favorite upgrades was the @JTopsUSA sun shade. It has made driving around with the top off great. Get that open air feeling, but blocks out the UV.

Then we needed a way to communicate on the trail. Got a great set up from @CoolTech on the CB Kit. I will eventually add a Ham Radio also, but a lot of events require you to have a CB.

Next it was time up lift the Jeep and add 37" tires. Only one out there at the time that wasnt a spacer lift, was the Mopar Lift. I had to fix some things on it with the Rock Krawler Correctional Spring Pads and Adjustable Tracks Bars front and rear. It has worked out good since. I added Wheel Spacers and used stock wheels for a while, as of now I dont. I eventually changed out to Method 105 bead locks and removed the wheel spacers. I also added the Mopar Tire Carrier to help with the 37" tires. I no longer have this either. @Moto_21 actually has it now.

Then the day finally came when the Poison Spyder Crawler bumper was released. I was in the first batch of 15 people to get it. #7 on the list of pre-orders. I had my Warn Zeon 10s Winch ready to go already. Got it all installed and grabbed from Factor 55 gear to help improve the winching conditions.

Then to help with navigation, I added the 67D Rail System. This is one of my top favorite upgrades. The Gaia GSP app on my iPad has been huge. Pre-map my trail, then put it on airplane mode, good to go.

Like I mentioned before. I smashed my steering stabilizer in Big Bear. So I upgraded to the Fox 2.0

This next upgrade was a lot of work to set up. Well worth it though. I added the ARB Twin Air in the back of my JLU with the MORE bracket. I had to create a new harness for it to work though.

Another cool product from @CoolTech . I should have installed something like this sooner. TDS was starting and they require one in every Jeep. Perfect timing, as Cool Tech just came out with one.

Before going out to TDS, I wanted to finally switch to the Method 105 Beadlocks and change my tires from 37" KO2 to 37" KM3. Huge improvement.
