Great news! Will look forward to visiting sometime in the future. Ford museum was cool. I'm not sure why so many sarcastic comments as the first few replies. All brands and dealers have issues, this is great for the Jeep community.

It would be great if the Jeep Center would be like the BMW Performance Center in SC.
One can locally order their BMW, then go to SC to pickup their BMW.
At the performance, one can drive their new BMW on their test tracks to learn the features the their new vehicle.
Afterwards, the new owner drives their BMW home.
If Jeep would do something similar, this would also be a great way to avoid the $1400 delivery fee.
Just my $0.015 worth.

Sounds like it will be well worth the three hour drive from the house. Looking forward to it!

This would be great. However, FCA's deal with the trucking companies require the $1400 delivery fee whether you pick it up in Toledo or Los Angeles. If you pick up your Corvette in Bowling Green at the museum there, it even costs MORE.

Yeah, around €2000 extra to pick up from one of the Porsche factories in Germany plus hotels, flights etc and in our case a ferry crossing to the U.K.

Also hassle re registering a German registered car in the U.K. and insurance complications.

Quite a nice experience but overpriced and not something I’d do again.

Will the “Dealer Experience” part of the exhibit include using a land mine detector and wearing a combat helmet? 😫

Does not seem to be open yet?
Only 2 hours east of Toledo but no word of it being open.
Worked as a contractor in the old multi story jeep plant, do I have some stories about that place!

Maybe they should invest that 40mil into addressing steering issues and get the LSD clutch pack situation addressed first.
Have a special section to list and show all the jeep problems and qc.

You know this isn't a crazy idea.
At the motorhome manufacturers that I have dealt with, they allow you to bring your vehicle back to a separate building at the town where they were built to have warranty claims done. The workers there are well-trained in fixing anything needed.
I traveled from Florida to Indiana to have this done with a couple of MH.
This was only done within the warranty period.
Why COULDN'T auto manufacturers have regional places to do this?
