Jeep Emblem Location

My Stinggray Sport came with chrome Jeep emblems which I have never liked. I finally broke down and ordered the black ones from Jeep and removed my old ones, no easy task.

I should have taken some measurements, but I installed the new ones by eyeball. They are on straight and both sides are the same, but I put them about 1/4” too high after looking more carefully.

Should I try to pull these back off and hope I don’t damage them or just forget about it?

The Jeep emblem looks fine. I vote you take off the Wrangler Unlimited sticker instead.

If it were me, I would see it every time I get in the Jeep. It would nag me until I fixed it. That 1/4 inch would glare at me from across the parking lot. A neon sign would be less obvious. It would be like going to a strip club and the hot dancer has one boob bigger than the other. You can’t help but look at it. Beauty ruined.

Next time just plasti-dip the chrome badge. It's easy, cheap, and not permanent.

I also vote to remove the sticker and leave the JEEP logo alone.

It looks pretty good to me. You're inline with the door hinge.

Next time buy vinyl overlays from Reflective Concepts. That’s what I did to make my emblems white. They were $15 for a pair; they are good quality, super easy to apply, and come in any color.
