I don’t think “not impressed” or “mortified” quite cover it.

Wow!!! That’s unrealSponsored

Wow!!! That’s unrealSo...is hubby liked by your father? Well...I mean before he finds out that he wasted all that syrup?

When I was a kid there was a visitor from Germany, and one time he wanted to know what Texas was really all about and wanted to make a day trip there. We had to shatter his dreams when we told him it would take at least a day and a half just to get to the state line in a car... The landmass scaling hit him hard right then.Piggybacking on the earlier conversation, I literally just thought, “777, that’s not TOO bad. Wait. ARGH! Damn Americans!!!”
My “drive there one day, and back the other” idea is out the window...
Since you are going to dig into Dad's supply anyway...why not grab an extra bottle and send it my way. I will gladly cover shipping costs for some excellent Canadian syrup! Also hoping to steal syrup from Dad’s supply when visiting on Sunday.

I remember as a kid when we traveled across the state of Texas and was told it would be two days! When I was a kid there was a visitor from Germany, and one time he wanted to know what Texas was really all about and wanted to make a day trip there. I was shocked the first time I drove from Texarkana to Midland/Odessa...and it took a day...and then figuring out that El Paso was another 4 or 5 hrs past Midland/Odessa...When I was a kid there was a visitor from Germany, and one time he wanted to know what Texas was really all about and wanted to make a day trip there. Mostly. I would say my dad doesn’t fully “get” my hubby, but that he has a deep respect for him, and is proud to call him his son-in-law.So...is hubby liked by your father? Well...I mean before he finds out that he wasted all that syrup?
I remember our road trip out west. When I was a kid there was a visitor from Germany, and one time he wanted to know what Texas was really all about and wanted to make a day trip there. Its exhausting even for Texans too...I was shocked the first time I drove from Texarkana to Midland/Odessa...and it took a day...and then figuring out that El Paso was another 4 or 5 hrs past Midland/Odessa...
My dad still remembers and comments on a bottle of crown royal that went missing when I was a teenager... I like ya, Joe, but I ain’t gonna test my luck like that.Since you are going to dig into Dad's supply anyway...why not grab an extra bottle and send it my way. But I’ll keep the syrup smashing a secret, just to be safe.

See? Another reason I'm stoked to wait for the JT...There’s an issue with the rear window washer leaking, apparently the fix is that drilled hole to vent it![]()
